Come join us as we host an Origami Workshop on June 19 at 10:30 am – 12:30 pm.

Origami is the art of folding paper. This workshop, the theme will be Kusudama. The literal translation is Medicine Ball. Traditionally, the word came from something similar where people would insert fragrances for healing purposes, now it’s become a decorative item. We would like to take this opportunity to enjoy being in the same space as our fellow alumni and their friends and family while doing a simple activity together.

What to expect:

  1. You’ll learn some basic folding tricks
  2. Learn how to make at least one kusudama
  3. Socialise with other JET Alumni and friends

What to bring:

  1. Wear a Mask
  2. Vaccine Passport & ID
  3. (If you already have some Origami that you want to use) Origami
