It’s that time of year again! Celebrating Japanese-Canadian Culture for 46 years, the Powell Street Festival is Vancouver’s longest community arts celebration! You can be a part of this year’s festival taking place July 30th and 31st.
We are looking for amazing alumni to help out at our community booth on Saturday, July 30th from 11:00am.
Volunteer duties at the Community Booth involve answering questions about the JET Programme, directing people to JET Programme informational materials, and generally talking about your experiences in Japan. It’s a great way to take in the Powell Street Festival and meet new people, including other JET alumni who often stop by to chat. Shifts are available from 11am to 7pm with 2-3 volunteers at the table at one time.
