JETAABC is excited to invite high school students learning Japanese to participate in the third Metro Vancouver Japan Bowl on Sunday February 23, 2020.
The Japan Bowl® is a Japanese language and culture competition for high school students who are studying Japanese. What is the difference between Koicha and Usucha? This tea ceremony experience covers formal preparation of both types of tea. Each tea will be accompanied with a different type of wagashi (Japanese sweet). You will also learn about the differences in flavour, preparation, and guest protocols between the two.
Time: Saturday November 23, 2019
Session 1: 12:45 pm – 2:45 pm
Session 2: 3:15 pm – 5:15 pm
Cost: $25 for JET Alumni, $30 for guests
